Angela Alwine BGS, RDH, CDA is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Dental Education. She completed her BGS in 2019 and AS - Dental Hygiene in 2000, both at Indiana University South Bend. Angela has extensive clinical experience in dental hygiene and dental assisting, both in public health and private practice settings. This background lends well to her role as senior cohort coordinator, mentoring students through their final year of clinical coursework. Angela is passionate about life-long learning, professional development, and access to care for the underserved. A self-professed cat lady, she also enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, and spending time with family.
